Storytime & Craft: Celebrating Juneteenth

The Customs House Museum warmly invites you to join us for our 3rd Annual Juneteenth Storytime and Craft Celebration! Enjoy two inspiring story readings: Dr. Rashidah Leverett, County Commissioner District 5, will read Opal Lee and What It Means to Be Free by Alice Faye Duncan, followed by Frankie Moore Purdie, Universe United Mrs. Kansas 2025, reading Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem by Amanda Gorman. After the stories, Miss Clarksville Juneteenth Contestants will assist with a creative craft activity inspired by the beautiful quilts of Gee’s Bend.

*All parents are expected to participate with and supervise their children.
