Research, Reproduction & Use

The Museum encourages explorations of our collections through research to foster cultural understanding of art, history and science.

Our collection of over 21,000 artifacts, artwork, archival materials and photographs are held in trust for the benefit of the public. Artifacts are preserved, documented and carefully managed according to professional standards, so that they may be viewed, researched and appreciated now and into the future.

All non-restricted collections artifacts are open to researchers by appointment. Please contact the Curator of Collections with research questions or to schedule an appointment.

Research Requests

  • Staff will be happy to attempt to answer all research questions and requests related to our collections
  • In-depth research requests requiring more than one hour of staff time may be charged $25 per hour

Reproduction and Use

Reproduction images of materials in the Museum may be provided upon the completion of the Reproduction & Use Request form and receipt of payment. All proceeds directly benefit the care and preservation of our collections.
