Internships
The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center accepts internship applications on a rotating basis throughout the year. Opportunities are currently available within our Marketing/Media department. All internships are unpaid. We encourage undergraduate and graduate students to apply for an internship at the Museum to earn academic credit.

VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN
Position Overview
The Videography Intern is an energetic team player that will assist the Marketing team with creating videos that feature special events, exhibits, monthly education programs, retail in Seasons: The Museum Store and more. This position is an on-site internship position dealing with both digital and physical components.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with a Canon EOS Rebel T7i camera
- Knowledge of lighting techniques, Adobe Creative Suite and Creative Cloud preferred
- Must be able to film, edit, organize and maintain video for digital archive
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, creatively troubleshoot, work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Professional demeanor and excellent people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enrolled in an internship course for college credit

Education and Experience
Presently enrolled in college or university with one of the following majors: Film/Video, Photography, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related discipline.
All intern positions at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Museum, d.b.a. the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center will be filled by the selection of only fully qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, or disability who meet the criteria of the job description. PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN
Position Overview
The Photography Intern will assist the Marketing team with photographing and editing images for retail in Seasons: The Museum Store, special events, exhibits, monthly education programs and daily photographs of visitors. This position is an on-site internship position dealing with both digital and physical components.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with a Canon EOS Rebel T7i camera
