This exhibit features original, candid photographs of America’s iconic illustrator Norman Rockwell. It is a rare and unusual opportunity to get a candid glimpse of the man who privately, humbly, with dry Yankee wit and much wisdom, showed us a better version of ourselves.
This exhibit explores the man behind the canvas through the lens of Louis Lamone, and introduces America’s most beloved illustrator in a never-before-seen glimpse into his private life through select anecdotal and personal memorabilia and black and white photographs from the Charles & Joy Flint Collection.
Also featured are Saturday Evening Post covers spanning 1936–1963.
Exhibit sponsored in part by Clarksville Dental Center.
