Modern Girls is an exhibit I created in honor of Women’s History Month. I wanted to recognize the talented contemporary women of Tennessee that are successful in the national, and for some worldwide, field of visual art. The participants of Modern Girls represent the entire state of Tennessee, and a variety of mediums. It is very exciting to bring these talents together, under one roof, in one exhibit, for the first time.
– Terri Jordan, Curator of Exhibit
