The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center was proud to be recognized by the Tennessee Association of Museums during the annual conference, which took place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, March 15 – 17, 2017.
The 2016 exhibit Of Stars and Stripes was recognized with an Award of Commendation to reflect its excellence. Thank you to the TAM awards committee for your recognition. Another thank you goes to Dr. John Olson for loaning objects for the exhibit.

The Customs House competed in the Large Institution category, which includes institutions such as Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, Frist Center for the Visual Arts, and others across the state.
