Collections / Research

The permanent collection of the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center encompasses over 20,000 objects. The diverse collection includes art, clothing, tools, toys, photographs, and a variety of other artifacts related to the history of Montgomery County.

In addition, the Customs House Museum maintains an education collection of historical objects or reproductions which can be handled and used in educational programs.

All non-restricted collections itemsĀ are open to researchers upon request. Research requests or requests for on-site visits may be directed to Melissa Miller, Curator of Collections.
