The permanent collection of the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center encompasses over 18,000 objects. The diverse collection includes art, clothing, tools, toys, photographs, and a variety of other artifacts related to the history of Montgomery County.
In addition, the Customs House Museum maintains an education collection of historical objects or reproductions which can be handled and used in educational programs.
The library, document archives, and photographic archives are open to researchers. Research requests or requests for on-site visits may be directed to Amy Lewellen, Curator of Collections.
